1. Overview & Core Philosophy

At Pocket Hisaab (developed by Fepzo Technologies Pvt Ltd and published through Techope Solutions), we believe your personal financial data belongs to you alone. The app is engineered with an offline-first local architecture. Your incomes, expenses, wallets, debts, customer accounts, and business invoices are stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database and are never uploaded to our servers by default.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require mandatory account registration or passwords.
• We do not scan, read, or sell your transactions or invoice contents.
• We do not share your customer contacts or khata balances with any credit bureau or advertiser.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

• Camera & Photo Library: Used strictly to attach photo receipts to expense entries or invoice headers. Images remain exclusively on your local device.
• Contacts: Optional permission used solely if you choose to import a contact into your Khata Ledger. Contacts are not uploaded to any remote server.
• Biometrics (Face ID / Fingerprint): Managed entirely by iOS LocalAuthentication and Android BiometricPrompt APIs. The app never accesses or stores your raw biometric data.

4. Optional Encrypted Cloud Backup

If you voluntarily choose to enable Cloud Sync, your database records are synchronized over encrypted HTTPS connections to a secure Supabase instance. You retain full control to delete your cloud records at any time from Settings or via our Account Deletion page.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Pocket Hisaab Pro in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly through Apple App Store StoreKit and Google Play In-App Billing. We do not process, collect, or store your payment card credentials.

6. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You have complete control over your data. Because data is stored locally, clearing app storage or uninstalling the app permanently removes all local records. For any synced cloud records, see our dedicated Delete Account procedure.
